Acoustic, Alternative Rock

"Antioxidant" is a song written by Austin Scholl and recorded under his alias ThornBrain. It was released on his second album, Nobody Cares Unless You're Pretty or Dying.

The song is about "treating people like shit", written about three different, unnamed relationships in Thorn's life. The first is about his doomed friendship with DFatman, the second about his friendship with Mugiwara Yoshi and the latter's high school-era bitterness and antisocialness, and the third about his altercations with 1KidsEntertainment.

The title was chosen specifically to be for a song with nothing to do with the title.

Didn't know each other long
And goes to tell
As far as doomed to fail goes
It did not go well
Two figures in their masks
And over time
Your face came out of yours
Should I have left on mine

Have to hate the way I
Am when I think about it
I shouldn't think about it
Should I

We're bound by bitterness and
Manic cheers
Blind hate while wondering
What you'll do in a few years
Some day the time came for your
Thoughts to fair
Nobody's was but I
Still can't stand you there

Want to punch you in the
Face when I think about it
I shouldn't think about it
Should I

Stop me wishing
To go back in the marsh
Things are better
How they've laid out so far

It's up to you how you spend your time
So it's your call
But why do you insist to waste it
When you clearly hate them all
Someone had to say it
Guess something got through
And with the steady change
Maybe I'll forget you too

Now the seeds are planted
Now I've finally had it
It's time I made you think
So should I
Should I
Should I
Should I
